FENXX Tips For a Smooth Experience
1. Any Workout Counts
Stay active in whatever way works for you—Strava supports 47 workout types, and you can track workouts using your wearable or your preferred fitness app as long as it syncs to Strava.
If your workout type isn’t listed (Parkour? Underwater running?), choose Other or whatever is closest.
Just be sure to end the workout so it successfully syncs and earns FXP.
2. Hit the 30-Minute Minimum
Only workouts of 30 minutes or longer earn FXP.
If you're close to the cutoff, don’t stop your timer too early—hit that 30 minutes (an extra 5 jumping jacks work).
If your day is broken into shorter sessions, make sure one of them totals 30+ minutes.
Only one workout per day earns FXP.
3. Activities That Won’t Earn FXP
To keep things simple, here’s what won’t count toward points:
-
Workouts under 30 minutes
-
Workouts that never synced with Strava
-
Duplicate workouts (only the first one will count)
This avoids confusion and ensures everyone plays on the same field.
4. Use Mobile for Easy Syncing
Download the Strava mobile app for the smoothest experience.
Most workouts sync to your FENXX dashboard within a minute of appearing in Strava.
You can view your FXP progress anytime on:
-
Your Account page, or
-
The progress bar at the top of each page when logged in
Our site is optimized for mobile, and adding FENXX to your Home Screen makes checking your progress even easier (see #5 & #6).
5. Add FENXX to Your Home Screen (iOS)
-
Log into your FENXX account in Safari
-
Navigate to the page you want as your starting screen
-
Tap the Share icon
-
Select Add to Home Screen
-
Toggle on Open as Web App
-
Tap Add
You’ll now see the FENXX icon on your Home Screen.
6. Add FENXX to Your Home Screen (Android)
-
Log into your FENXX account in Chrome
-
Tap the three-dot menu
-
Choose Add to Home Screen
-
Tap Add
7. Before Your First Workout
A quick setup checklist to make sure everything runs smoothly:
-
Connect your Strava account to FENXX
-
Confirm your preferred fitness app syncs to Strava
-
Add FENXX to your Home Screen for easy access
-
Know where to find your FXP progress (Account page or progress bar)
-
Know where your FENXX ID is located (Account page)
8. Know Your FENXX ID
Your FENXX ID appears at the top of your Account page under your email.
This is how you'll show up in Leaderboards, Challenges, and anywhere progress is displayed.
9. If a Workout Isn’t Showing
Sometimes, the Strava → FENXX connection can time out if neither app has been opened in a while.
If your workout doesn’t appear right away:
-
Make sure it shows up in Strava first
-
Open Strava to refresh your activity list
-
Visit your FENXX Account page to trigger a new sync
-
Wait up to 5 minutes, especially during busy sync periods
This resolves nearly all syncing delays.
10. For the Most Accurate Tracking
You’ll get the best results when:
-
You start/stop your workout on time (avoid long pauses)
-
Your wearable or fitness app is fully connected before starting
-
You periodically open Strava or FENXX to keep the link active
11. How FXP Updates
FXP updates automatically when your workout syncs to Strava.
-
Your monthly FXP resets on the 1st
-
Your lifetime FXP never resets
-
Your progress bar updates with every eligible workout
